Santa Monica, CA – Nov. 10, 2016 – Today, Red Bull Media House announced the second event of this season’s Team Brawl: Hearthstone—a unique invite-only competition featuring Blizzard’s ever-popular digital collectible card game. Fans can tune in and watch professional teams build their card decks, make crucial decisions, and compete to find out who will go home with the grand prize and title of Team Brawl Champion. Team Brawl: Hearthstone takes place November 18-19 and airs on Red Bull eSports Twitch.tv channel on November 19.
The two-day competition puts a twist on the typical 1v1 of Hearthstone’s game mechanics—teams are set up 3v3 and mic’d up to assist their teammates. Each team is assigned one 240-card pool with which to construct three 30-card decks (meaning one deck per team member). This time, Team Brawl: Hearthstone will feature a Team Conquest Round Robin Format:
Teams blind pick one of their 3 decks for combat against the opposing team
Once a deck wins a game, it cannot be used again
First team to win with each of their three decks wins the match
Fans can cheer on their favorite professional Hearthstone teams, including returning champions Tempo Storm, Team Liquid, Team Kibler, and Cloud9.
BlizzCon 2016 had the presence of three peculiar Hearthstone cosplayers, at least those Dperschonok caught up with, and the Hearthstone stage looked awesome and tavern-friendly. The Darkmoon Faire touch was cool, as well. Check out our Overwatch Cosplay and Warcraft Cosplay photos too.
Blizzard Entertainment announced Hearthstone: Mean Streets of Gadgetzan at BlizzCon 2016. It will launch early December, and pre-orders are up. The next expansion adds three faction cards: The Grimy Goons, the Kabal, and the Jade Lotus.
Each class belongs to one of the city’s three factions. Your class cards and neutral minions all fall into that faction’s theme. The affiliations are:
Blizzard Entertainment launched the promotional to unlock the Tyrande hero in Hearthstone. Very easy if you follow the steps.
1. If you have Amazon Prime already that saves you some hassle. Click the link to login. **If you don’t have Amazon Prime you can register an account for the FREE Trial (that will allow you to get the Tyrande hero) — NOTE: Follow the links above to login.
The Normal Chess event replaces your hero class with the White King, thus you aren’t able to choose a deck. Instead, you are given random cards based on the chess pieces for this particular encounter. This is a very unique encounter in the Hearthstone: One Night in Karazhan adventure.
The Black King’s Hero power is Cheat: Destroy the left-most enemy minion. Try to have White Pawns to the left-most to avoid getting important cards killed right off.
At the end of your turn, all your cards deal damage to the enemy cards in the opposite side. Depending how you position your cards, a card can attack two enemy cards.
These are the cards you get (to the left), and the cards the Black King plays (to the right):
Magic Mirror is the second boss in the Parlor wing. His hero power allows him to duplicate minions you summon and those he summons. If you play as a Mage, in addition to Deathrattle minions, you should add Flamewaker, Knife Juggler, Chrommagus and Sorcerer Apprentice are good choices to get duplicated by his hero power.
Paladin decks can easily take this boss, especially with Chrommagus and a bunch of deathrattle minions in the mix.
Location: The Parlor Passive Hero Power: Whenever a minion is played, summon a 1/1 copy of it.
Silverware Golem is the first boss in the Parlor in the One Night in Karazhan adventure. The key to beating him is to deal immediately with Cup and Knife (5/1). Destroying Knife removes the Taunt from its minions. The ideal class to fight him is Mage.
